I would like to learn SEO both to promote my own website and to add to the services I can offer in the future.

What suggestions do you have for learning this subject.

Books, face to face tuition, online course etc

Which is the best course of action.

I do like the flexibility and simplicity of video tutorials and I have been using these to learn flash but does anyone know if there is such a thing for SEO..

frankly speaking it all depends upon your understanding and learning power..choose the method that would be easy for you to follow..I started it with ebooks, then took video lessons and after that tried it doing on my underdeveloped sites..the results you get at beginning are not as good as you expect..but usually in 3-4 months you can master the most essential techniques for sure..Good luck
