HEAD - OPERATIONS and FINANCE Education: CA Experience: 8 - 12 Years of Experience Responsibilities in a Nutshell: You will take care of operations and Finance and Accounts along with functions of client service and administration management. Play pivotal role in operations of the company as well as the finance department. Role: The person would be responsible for the over-all financial operations and administration of the company Operations:The operations and finance Manager is responsible for leading a team of 10-30 individuals. Should have excellent people management skills, example, work allocation, optimization, performance appraisal and develop and maintain processes and proceduresEnsure client service norms are implemented as expectations evolve with change in market place. Also identify and recommend enhanced and new services that answer clients business needs.Knowledgeable and hands on experience with statutory regulations in IndiaAdvising and assisting the management on all matters pertaining to Finance, Accounts, Legal and Administration. Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.Responsible for all matters related to taxation. Compute indirect taxes and tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other direct tax requirementsLiaison with Government authorities like the Reserve Bank of India, Ministry of Finance, FIPB, Central Excise, Income Tax, Sales Tax etc.Handle and direct all legal matters pertaining to the CompanyOversee all Department operations to ensure prudent accounting practices and compliance with rules and regulations of the Country.Provide financial analysis and interpretation of financial reportsPlan, organize and lead, activities related to the financial functions including FisCAl Services, Budget, Internal Audit, Risk Management etc.Monitor and authorize expenditures in accordance with established guidelines.Supervision and Managing short term and long term finance of the CompanyOverall Supervision of Admin, Accounts and AuditResponsible for training and development of department members in order to keep them updated with accounting practices and new responsibilities.Ensure proper maintenance of all financial ledgers and generate MIS Reports Desired Candidate Profile: The individual in this position must have excellent communication (candidate should have neutral Spoken English) and organizational skills.CAAdministrative and people management skills are required in dealing with the professional teamSmart, dynamic individual who carries the corporate image while he/she deals with clients.Candidate should have a relevant experience in the field of operations, accounts and financePreferred age group between 30-40.The personMust be a Chartered AccountantMust have minimum 10 years (post qualification experience)Must have at least 2-3 years of the above in a similar industryMust have excellent credentials Job Location: ChennaiE-mail to:
