it is really bad to see many americans are suffering from obesity. i really don't know why they are really getting so much like that. there are so many healthy alternatives in the USA groceries. and they have the money to buy healthy products. but they still choose those foods that are bad to their health.

I think a large part contributing to this is that Americans want things fast and (no offense) are pretty lazy. Therefore they go to the awful fast food restaurants.
