What is the program were you spend most of your time while designing your website. Is it Photoshop or Illustrator? Or something else? Illustrator is great for vector graphics, icons, button/interface elements that need to be scalable, while Photoshop is a plain pixel based graphics program.
I use Photoshop more but Illustrator is a big part of the deal to, because I use a lot of vector icons from Illustrator in order to make it look great.
