I am also using dreamweaver as it's an awesome editor for creating the html pages with ease.

I am using it from a long time so it has made me addicted.

I just start with notepad before change to HTML Editor Microsoft FrontPage. But then, I found a lot of unneeded coding in FrontPage.

I did try Dreamweaver, but it is quite hard for beginners like me

I was using notepad too but I have to write all the tags manually so I have decided to go for dreamweaver. It provide easy to use design layouts too.

If I use raw html editing (using codes), a simple notepad should be sufficient. However, there is a program which you help you understand the codes better which is CoffeeCup Html Editor. The best should be dreamweaver as you don't even need to worry about the codes at all as it will simply your task.

Dreamweaver is the tool for me. I only use the code mode, rarely I look at the design mode. I find it really cool and reliable. Once I've learned what it can do, I can do almost anything with it

Notepad,
from the first day I learned HTML and CSS until now.

Some designer state that WYSIWYG sometime will produce HTML tag which is not a valid HTML.
