Whenever you design your website, it's always important to ensure that the use of flash and moving images is kept to minimum. The reason - first of all, flash slow down site loading, so it's not a good idea. Second, most visitors are pretty annoyed with excessive images and they may not like it. Third, some browsers may not have support for flash, therefore they won't show up in the first place. Do put all these into consideration when designing your site.

I dont like to use more flash for my website too. Because flash takes so much time to load compare to html sites. I dont like to use flash in dynamic sites too.

Yes, flash can sometimes be very annoying. Browsers like IE can cause further slowdown and it can take ages to load. I feel that having flash is just not important and instead we just focus on getting valuable content to our site.

Flash is great for non profit sites in my opinion. It is also great for presentation and other multimedia RIAs but for the real deal, it's a boring annoying bastard

Yes, as long as it is not excessively manipulated, it is still fine. There are pros and cons in using flash but to me, the cons are definitely more. I have friends who also share the same opinion saying that they get annoyed whenever they come across sites which has too many flash contents.

Excessive use of flash slows down the webpage loadings.So it may get the visitors of your site go away.But flash designs may give ur site a professional look if u use it in a nice way.

me too dont like much of flash..as the reason specified..it decreases the speed of the internet..
but on the other hand..heavy flash coded pages looks very good..so i maintain a balance between those..

There is nothing wrong in my thoughts because flash doesn't effects each time when a user visits the site because it is loaded in the cache of system so don't worry about it. It will slow the computer once and there nothing will be happened after that.

yeah i really don't like going to websites with those flash things. cause i really have not that much fast internet connection. and when i have slow connection or download on those programs i just close the browsers immediately .
