Good Colors:
Dark Colors: Blue,Green,...
Gray, White, orange.
Try to view sites with the same subject as site, and try to see what's the best. |

I think t depend to the matching. For me, if the site good in colour matching, then should not be any problem, just want to feel comfortable when reading.
And i beleved that different people like different colour.

plain templates are the best , i like neat one .i donot like black because when ones to open those sites i saw that the ads comes relatively late. |

Yes, I like the simpler designs. The colours matter in some ways, but not others. For example, I need the colours to contrast, but other than that, I don't really care about them. |

I prefer white background for the text or posting because it makes it easier to read. But the sidebars can be of different colours Those are for "attracting" viewers and placing ads.

Your site is rather interesting. Bilingual site of Mandarin and English. Nice interesting news and topics. Loads a little slowly though. I have done the David Copperfield trick somewhere else before. I was shocked with the goreng pisang story too.
