I invite everyone to share their ideas about how to find out new customers for web hosting service? I've tried to list a few possible steps ...

1. List your company in all possible web hosting directories. Maintain your excellent ratings over there.

2. Participate in Forums like web hosting forums, web master forums, etc.. Put your website information in signature in proper format. Raise genuine questions and write detailed replies with proper investigations.

3. Try to get your company listed in top ten results in hosting directories.

4. Participation in Social Community Websites.

5. Affiliation Program. Introduce your affiliate program that offers best rewards. ( Contribution by sysax )

6. Blogs - Write Blogs for Web Hosting, Sponsor your hosting service to a popular blog/website ... ( Contribution by greentac )

7. Articles - Create articles with tips such as selecting a web hosting services and submit this with article submission sites. Articles that have a lot of helpful tips will encourage leads or customers to buy from a company who knows what they are selling... ( Contribution by hostbandit )

Tell friends that you have a webhosting service.
Try to be cheaper then the rest..
If it's free, make sure you make ur webhosting easy to use, and not confused or whatever...!

Why not make websites and then sell them. Target new webmasters or people who who do not have programming skills. By selling them a turn key website and offering them hosting they will likely stay because they don't know how to move the website. I would think you could develop a lot of clients that way.

then ask them to do a review for the web hosting company..
the blog's audience should consist of more newbie, because newbie don't know much web hosting company...

Being a cheaper will help you convert visitors into customers. What we're discussing here is how to get more and more visitors to your hosting service.

Coupen code is a common practice, what we're interested to hear is how to promote coupen codes or how to market your coupen codes?

Well sometimes when you advertise your coupon in just one right place, someone else will grab your coupon and place it in their website for benefit of their members. And of course the next question is how to put your coupon in right place.
